  Laminated glass is a composite glass product that is composed of a layer or multiple layers of organic polymer intermediate film between two or more sheets of glass. After special high-temperature prepression and high-temperature high-pressure processes, the glass and the intermediate film are permanently bonded into one. That is, when the laminated glass is broken by impact, its fragments will adhere to the PVB to form radial cracks, maintaining its original shape and visibility, and remain intact in the door and window frames, thereby effectively preventing or reducing damage to the human body and continuing to use within a certain period of time. It also prevents harmful sunlight and noise.

Processing process of laminated glass in our factory

               1. Glass sheet selection: Select sheets according to customer needs, such as: plain white, ultra white, low-e original glass, etc.;

               2. Glass cutting: Cut the original glass sheet into the size and shape required by the customer;

               3. Glass edge grinding and cleaning: The edge grinding equipment polishes the sharp edges of the cut glass smoothly, and the glass cleaning machine cleans the dust on the glass;

               4. Heating, softening and cooling in the tempering furnace: After softening in the tempering furnace at a high temperature of 700°, it is transferred to the cooling machine for rapid cooling;

               5. Quality inspection: After the glass is tempered, check its appearance, size, bending degree, fragmented state or bearing capacity of the glass surface;

               6. Glass cleaning and drying: Place the tempered glass on the cleaning machine to clean impurities, oil and dust, and then dry it;

               7. Combination: In a closed and non-contaminated composite chamber, synthesize them together on two or more clean Toughened Glass intermediate clips (PVBSGPEVA) intermediate films;

               8. Pre-pressure exhaust and high-pressure molding: After synthesis, pre-pressure exhaust is carried out, residual air between the glass and PVB intermediate film is discharged and sealed, and finally high-pressure molding.

Advantages and performance of laminated glass processed by our factory

               Our processed laminated glass can function as impact-resistant and shattered glass, which means that it can maintain the integrity of the glass even after destruction, and will not fall to the ground or hurt people. Moreover, our processed laminated glass can achieve a light transmittance of more than 90%, which can make the laminated glass not yellow, layered, white, bubbled, and beautiful and safe for ten years.

               ① Security protection and anti-theft: Because it is impossible to use a glass knife to effectively cut the installed laminated glass, and it takes a long time for normal people to break through laminated glass with other tools and is loud. So it is very difficult and easy to find when entering the interior by cutting or breaking laminated glass. Therefore, laminated glass has a strong resistance to malicious destruction, theft and violent invasion.

               ② Windproof and shockproof: Since laminated glass does not fall off when it breaks or after it breaks, the whole fragment remains embedded in the frame, laminated glass has become a building material that people are happy to use in hurricanes and typhoons and earthquakes.

               ③ Noise reduction: The hindering effect of PVB film on sound waves enables laminated glass to effectively block the propagation of sound and reduce noise.

               ④ Heat insulation: Laminated glass (especially colored laminated glass) can reduce the transmission of sunlight and effectively insulate heat, thereby reducing refrigeration energy consumption. At the same time, it can reduce the sun's glare without causing color distortion.

               ⑤ UV protection: Laminated glass has an extremely high barrier effect on UV rays (up to more than 99%), effectively preventing valuable indoor furniture, curtains, displays or other items from being exposed to ultraviolet light.

shoot.

               ⑥ Bulletproof and riot resistance: Multi-layer laminated glass can be used to create different levels of bulletproof and riot glass, which are used in places where guns and bullets are needed and violent attacks are needed.

Application of laminated glass in our factory

    • Widely used in buildings doors and windows, curtain walls, lighting ceilings, skylights, indoor glass partitions and other places;

    • Public facilities such as schools, airports, hotels, office buildings;

    • Lighting sheds, apartments/hotel doors and windows, zoos, and aquariums where special safety requirements are required.
