Features of our factory planeInsulated Glasses
The plane Insulated Glasses is a closed cavity structure formed by two or more flat glass separated by spacer strips and bonded around it with sealant (butyl glue and structural glue).
1. Since the hollow layer can effectively reduce heat conduction and reduce indoor and outdoor heat exchange, the plane Insulated Glasses has excellent thermal insulation performance and sound insulation effect.
2. Can prevent condensation and insulation
3. Plane Insulated Glasses can be expanded in a variety of functions, such as it can reflect infrared rays in combination with Low-E coating, enhance heat insulation and insulation, and can also be upgraded to electrochromic or dimming glass to achieve privacy or shading control.
4. Because the hollow structure can disperse stress, it can withstand wind pressure more than single-layer glass, making it suitable for high-rise buildings. If Toughened Glass or laminated glass is used, it can also be explosion-proof and impact-resistant.
5. The thickness of the hollow layer (common 6mm~24mm) can be adjusted according to demand to balance performance and cost. Therefore, it has lightweight and design flexibility.
6. Our factory supports a variety of glass types to meet aesthetic needs and has a customized appearance.
7. Our factory uses high-quality sealant to ensure that the service life of the plane is at least 20 years, durable and environmentally friendly.
Plane Insulated Glasses Common Thickness Configurations
The thickness of the plane Insulated Glasses is usually composed of the thickness of the glass sheet and the thickness of the hollow layer. The specific choice must be determined based on factors such as thermal insulation requirements, strength requirements, and load-bearing capacity of the installation frame. Therefore, the actual configuration needs to be combined with engineering design requirements, local climate and budget comprehensive assessment.
Common overall thickness configuration (unit: mm)
1) Mainstream configuration, thermal insulation and sound insulation balanced, optional 6+9A+6 (total thickness 21mm)
2) Suitable for ordinary doors and windows, with high cost performance, 5+6A+5 (total thickness 16mm)
3) It is required to improve insulation performance, the hollow layer can be thickened, and 5+12A+5 can be selected (total thickness 22mm)
4) Commercial buildings or residential buildings with high sound insulation requirements can be customized 6+12A+6 (total thickness 24mm)
5) Home doors and windows can be customized to 5+9A+5 or 6+12A+6
High performance configuration
1) Large glass or high wind pressure areas (such as curtain walls), can be customized 8+12A+8 (total thickness 28mm)
2) Super high-rise buildings or extreme climate areas, customizable 10+16A+10 (total thickness 36mm)
Three glass and two chambers (higher thermal insulation)
1) Three glass double hollows can be customized in passive rooms or severe cold areas, such as 4+6A+4+6A+4 (total thickness 24mm)
2) High-end energy-saving building, customizable 6+9A+6+9A+6 (total thickness 36mm)
Plane Insulated Glasses selection and suggestions
1) Energy saving is required, and Low-E + argon filling + warm edge design can be selected.
2) Requires safety, optional tempering or interlayer Insulated Glasses.
3) If noise reduction is required, choose unequal thick glass + laminated layer or three-layer hollow structure.
4) If the budget is limited and costs need to be controlled, choose ordinary transparent Insulated Glasses+ air layer.
Plane Insulated Glasses type
1. According to the original glass sheet, it can be divided into ordinary transparent Insulated Glasses, tempered Insulated Glass/Low-EInsulated Glasses, interlayer Insulated Glasses and colored glaze/decoration Insulated Glasses.
2. According to the gas filling category, it can be divided into air layer Insulated Glasses and inert gas Insulated Glasses.
3. According to the structure and function of the spacer layer, it can be divided into conventional Insulated Glasses, warm edge Insulated Glasses and vacuum composite Insulated Glasses.
4. According to the special function type, it can be divided into sound insulation Insulated Glasses, anti-condensation Insulated Glasses and photovoltaic Insulated Glasses.
5. According to the number of hollow layers, it can be divided into double layer Insulated Glasses (5+12A+5) and three layer Insulated Glasses (5+6A+5+6A+5).
Our factory plane Insulated Glasses processing and production specifications
For specific production parameters, our factory needs to adjust them in accordance with customer requirements, and can also provide sample testing.
1. The thickness of the glass is optional, 5~19mm
2. The glass type can be selected as float glass, Toughened Glass, Low-E glass, laminated glass, etc.
3. Maximum size 3300mm×7000mm, minimum size 300mm×300mm.
4. The spacer material can be made of aluminum strips (commonly used widths 6mm, 9mm, 12mm), stainless steel or warm edge strips (reducing heat conduction).
5. The hollow cavity structure can be filled with inert gases such as argon and krypton.

Plane Insulated Glasses specification example
1. Home doors and windows: 5+9A+5 or 6+12A+6
2. Office building curtain wall: 8+12A+8 (argon-filled)
3. Sun roof: 6+12A+6+1.52PVB+6 (slimmed glue, explosion-proof)
Our factory plane Insulated Glasses processing process
1. Cut the original glass sheet according to the order requirements, chamfer the cutting edges, remove microcracks, and then clean and dry.
2. Making spacer frames, you can choose aluminum alloy frames or warm edge glue strips (such as TPS).
3. Coat hot melt butyl glue on both sides of the spacer bar.
4. Place a piece of glass flat, place an aluminum frame (centered), cover the second piece of glass, and combine the sheet and press it.
5. Inject mixed polysulfide glue or silicone glue around the glass to cover the outer edge of the spacer to form an elastic sealing layer. Cured in temperature and humidity 23±2℃, RH 50% for 24-48 hours.
6. Quality inspection dew point test, sealing and appearance inspection.
7. Vertical packaging, avoid overlapping, add angle protection for four corners, and apply moisture-proof labels. Store in dry and ventilated warehouses, away from heat sources.
