Super Spacer®Insulated Glasses (super spacer stripsInsulated Glasses) are high-performance Insulated Glasses products, usually separated by two or more pieces of glass by spacer strips (aluminum strips or other materials) and bonded at the edges with sealant (butyl glue polysulfide glue or silicone glue) to form a dry gas space (such as air argon, etc.)

Advantages of Super Spacer®Insulated Glasses

It is mainly reflected in energy saving, sound insulation, dew resistance and safety, as follows:

1. The hollow layer is usually filled with inert gas such as argon, which can effectively reduce heat conduction, reduce indoor and outdoor heat exchange, and significantly reduce energy consumption of air conditioning or heating. If the glass surface is coated with a low-radiation film, infrared rays can be further reflected, improve thermal insulation effect, and increase energy saving efficiency by 30%-50%.

2. The air layer or gas layer of the hollow structure can attenuate noise propagation, especially for medium and high frequency noise (such as traffic voices). If an asymmetric glass thickness or laminate layer is used, the sound insulation performance is better, and the noise reduction can reach 35-50 decibels: suitable for noisy environments such as street-facing buildings and airports.

3. Insulated Glasses is filled with desiccant inside to avoid condensation of water vapor. In cold areas, it can prevent the condensation of glass on the interior, keep the field of view clear, and reduce mold growth

4. If Toughened Glass or laminated glass combination is used, it will be granule after being broken or adhered to the film, reducing the risk of personal injury and the multi-layer hollow structure is difficult to break through. It can be equipped with anti-theft film to improve safety, and can also block 70%-90% of UV radiation, protecting indoor furniture floors from fading.
