Our factory's ordinary Insulated Glasses features
Thermal insulation: The air layer reduces heat conduction and reduces building energy consumption.
Sound insulation: can reduce noise by 30~40 decibels (depending on the configuration).
Anti-condensation: The hollow layer can reduce the temperature difference between the inside and outside and reduce condensation water.
Common Insulated Glasses common thickness configuration
Glass thickness: 3~12mm is commonly used for single sheets (such as 5+6A+5, which means two 5mm glass + 6mm air layer).
Air layer thickness: usually 6~20mm, too small, poor effect, too large, weight will increase and performance may be reduced due to convection.
Normal Insulated Glasses type
1. According to the original glass sheet, it is float Insulated Glasses, tempered Insulated Glass, coating Insulated Glasses, and interlayer Insulated Glasses.
2. Classified by spacer layer, it is aluminum spacer bar Insulated Glasses and warm edge spacer bar Insulated Glasses.
3. According to the gas filling category, it is air layer Insulated Glasses and inflatable Insulated Glasses
Our factory's normal Insulated Glasses processing and production specifications
1. Single-layer glass thickness: commonly used 5~19mm.
2. Hollow layer thickness: usually 6~24mm.
Common combination examples
5+6A+5 (5mm glass + 6mm hollow layer + 5mm glass)
6+9A+6 (6mm glass + 9mm hollow layer + 6mm glass)
5+12A+5 (sound insulation and thermal insulation effect are better)
Note: A means that the hollow layer is dry air, and can also be filled with argon or argon. Special needs may adopt a three-glass and two-cavity structure, such as 5+6A+5+6A+5.
3. Maximum size: about 3300mm*7000mm, minimum size: 300mm*300mm
Normal Insulated Glasses specification example
Home doors and windows: Use 5+6A+5 or 5+9A+5 more.
Curtain wall/commercial construction: Commonly used combinations of 6+12A+6 or thicker.
Special environment: Hollow layers may be added in high-altitude areas or Low-E coated glass may be used.
Our factory's ordinary Insulated Glasses processing process
1. Cut the original glass into the required size according to the order or design requirements.
2. Chamfer or fine grind the edges of the cut glass to remove burrs.
3. Remove dust, oil and other impurities on the glass surface through an automatic cleaning machine (spray + brush), and use high-pressure air or heating and drying to ensure that the glass surface is completely dry.
3. Cut the aluminum spacer strips according to the glass size, fill the sub-sieve in the cavity of the aluminum strip and seal it.
4. Coat hot melt butyl glue on both sides of the aluminum frame, then accurately adhere the aluminum frame to the lower glass, and then cover the upper glass to form a 'glass-aluminum frame-glass' structure.
5. Exhaust air through a press roller or press to ensure that the glass and the aluminum frame are closely bonded and pressed.
6. If you need to improve the thermal insulation performance, inject argon (Ar) or krypton gas (Kr) into the reserved hole of the aluminum bar, and seal the glue injection hole after completion. Finally, apply polysulfide glue or silicone glue (two-component sealant) to the outer periphery of the aluminum frame.
7. Place the made ordinary Insulated Glasses in a constant temperature and humidity environment to completely cure the sealant.
8. Check sealing, appearance flatness, dew point (≤-40℃), etc.
9. Labeling: mark specifications, gas type, production date and other information. Pack it with dustproof film or wooden box to avoid bumps during transportation.
Our factory's ordinary Insulated Glasses quality standards
Comply with national GB/T 11944-2012
Passed the CCC certification for national security glass mandatory certification
Normal Insulated Glasses application
1. Building doors and windows: Ordinary residential and office buildings with low energy conservation requirements.
2. Curtain wall: It is necessary to combine tempered or coated glass to improve safety.
3. Indoor partition: Areas where sound insulation is required but no high intensity is required.
